Samuel is doing marching band at NCSU this fall,
so we thought we'd go check it out!
we picked up my dad in the Whole Foods parking lot,
paid $15 to park in someone's yard,
& hoofed it to Carter-Finley....
overhearing me, you'd think i kept sighting a rare bird!
oh! there he is!!!
we had lots of fun in the sun
following the band around the stadium
& watching them rehearse different routines.
so much fun in the sun
that we felt no need to stay for the game.
we were just there to see our favorite trumpeter, of course.
