eeny meeny miny moe

i've been following the restoration
in Fisher Park,
just north of downtown
Greensboro.
~ ~ ~
originally built for the Julian Price family,
it fell into disrepair with the second owner
& was topic of the Hoarder's tv show
prior to its renewal over the past year.
~ ~ ~
so, i couldn't wait
once the designers opened it up
(but before the actual owners move in).
~ ~ ~
i found the perfect person
to tour with me...
my very own palindrome, MOM :)
~ ~ ~
the only photo evidence that we were there ~ in the Library's bathroom
it was all eye-catching
& some was downright tasty.
~ ~ ~
here are some snippets
that i found
the most so.

reflections & light in the foyer

i spy
an elevator!
~ ~ ~
alas, it appears to be non-operational & serving time as a location for checking your level of inebriation instead

more reflections, light,
& a glimpse of the repaired living room ceiling

really enjoy the arcs of this chandelier

who will call this home

i'll keep you posted
in a vague way.

rouge except one

it's always interesting when i find something
that ties photos together;
this time,
it's clearly a color palette!
~ ~ ~
i haven't posted in a while
but spring is here,
so of course i've
photographed the flowers!
~ ~ ~
&, later, there are some photos
from the NCMA, which i visit
just about every time i'm in Raleigh.

we've had a lingering winter,
with a late snow at the end of March.
