to cram in all available
frivolities,
we went directly from
the chamber crawl
to the summer solstice
fairy festival
in the park
near our house

the newly minted duo
this fierce little fairy
enjoyed them, too.
we've heard them each
in different settings...
molly, a long-time local singer/songwriter,
& quilla, a much more recent addition to our scene.

then a little girl started
to do a running dance,
back & forth
at the edge of the grass.
i enjoyed
