wee bit of Father's Day fun :)
i scheduled my parents to come stay with the 'boys'

but they all had a fun time hanging out at the house
while the old parents frolicked at Stone Mountain.

 we hiked a new-to-us trail,
the Widow's Creek Trail
it is part of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail,
and we were quickly left in the dust
of a pack of trail runners
who were kind enough to show us
where the mud was thick.
Widow's Creek Falls...see the howling face? I do.
first time in the mountains (in a long time)
