a little bit of nanotech in your life

Joseph was accepted to a Nanotechnology camp last year -
a joint venture between a local private school (with a sponsor)

Last year, the (then) rising ninth-graders
explored hydroponics.
This year, the (now) rising tenth-graders
learned how to design for 3D printing!

Joseph and his friend Daniel at their poster
The students chose to fabricate either a drone or an airplane.
Joseph and Daniel tried their hands (and brains) at making an air-worthy drone.
Joseph securing the navigation device and battery (I think)

going old-school with some tape to make sure the propellers and wires are connected (I think)

their informative (and amusing, of course) poster

checking in with flight control
prior to launch
watch the white spot
dive into the field
and, now,
into the concrete

next year, they will be allowed into the labs!
