and, suddenly, it was time to collect him from the airport!
our airport (and city) is so relatively small and traffic-free,
that we didn't leave the house until the plane
was over Lynchburg, Virginia.
(i know this because i was obsessively tracking
the flights on my handy-dandy flight tracker thingy.)
we only had to wait
a little while
before the plane was in-gate
and Samuel appeared!!!
THERE THEY ARE !!!!!!!!!!
we had been in pretty good contact with Samuel
while he was in China
(via the app WeChat),
and i had asked him what food he was missing...
he said that he and his friend Richard
had been talking about
Cook-Out
since one week into the trip
wish granted!
then we dropped Richard off at his house,
& Samuel was H O M E !
he's already told us lots of great stories
and shown us a few of his souvenirs
i showed him all the blank pages
still left in his passport....
but, for now, we're very happy
to have him
back in the nest!
